They represent a dying breed of rock and roll.. The JC Trio originated out of Quincy, MA. during one of the coldest winters in New England history. They play a blues / rock / soul / punk / funk style that really isn’t too similar with any other current bands. Johnny Lightning shreds the guitar and sings, Dr. Thunder rips a thunderous bass and Billy Tornado brings the boom on the drums. You can hear mixes of Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, ZZ Top, and Nirvana nestled in to their vintage sound.
