Adam Gibbons has been producing and spinning events globally for over 20 years, Through mind, body and soul, Gibbons is a music lover & strives to share his passion with the crowds he plays for. Playing dynamic and energetic sets often accompanied by live musicians, He has worked with such heavyweights as Grammy Award winning artists Bebel Gilberto, Bill Laswell, Shiela E, Femi Kuti, Oumou Sangaré, and Louie Vega. As well as equally respected artists such as Thievery Corporation, Antibalas, Ron Trent, Black Coffee, Osunlade, King Britt, Nickodemus, and many others.

His current project Uhuru Afrika, a “multi-sensory,” club experience with a unique blend of deep, soulful, Afro- rooted dance music. The mission is to bridge ancient traditional African music (of the Yoruba, Zulu, Maasai…) and the electronic dancefloor sounds of today. “Uhuru Afrika is a unique and powerful intersection of art and nightlife that challenges distinctions between the two.” –Boston Dig.

Adam has released original work and remixes on Open Bar Music, MoBlack Records and Offering Records. All releases have made it into the Traxsource Afro House top 100 charts.
